East Windsor CampusThe East Windsor campus of Lincoln Technical Institute (formerly Baran Institute of Technology) is a 40 acre, 315,000 square foot facility. It is located conveniently off Interstate 91, (Exit 44) just north of Hartford and Bradley International Airport. The campus contains 30 classrooms, two fully equipped computer labs, a learning resource center, an auditorium, administrative offices including financial aid, admissions, student services, career services, a full service cafeteria and over 260,000 square feet of practical shop space. The shop area contains fully equipped training sections that are air-conditioned. Parking is available for 800 vehicles.

You'll acquire the skills necessary to apply problem solving techniques and correctly test, diagnose, replace, and repair a variety of vehicle systems including mechanical, electronic and hydraulic as well as vehicle accessories. Lincoln College of Technology's Columbia Campus offers an Associate of Applied Science degree in Automotive Technology that can provide you with the skills necessary to:

- Troubleshoot and service a gasoline powered internal combustion engine;
- Replace, overhaul and adjust fuel injection systems;
- Evaluate electrical components using diagnostic equipment;
- Inspect and service front wheel-drive and rear wheel-drive vehicles;
- Diagnose and repair rotors, drums and anti-lock braking systems;
- Test, replace and repair ignition systems;
